History
This decoration was founded by Victor Emmanuel III to recognize the meritorious efforts and contributions by Italian farmers that resulted in the growth of national agriculture. The decoration was discontinued in 1944.
The Bronze Star was meant to reward exemplary contributions to the growth of domestic food products, and it was restricted to 250 recipients per year.
These decorations may be stamped with engraver and manufacturer marks, including "SIAM ROMA," "75 GE," and "7 TO," or have no marks at all.
