    The Medal of the Straja Tarii was established by King Carol II in 1934. The Straja Tarii was a paramilitary youth organisation that was modelled after the Hitler Youth and commanded by the King himself. Both the organisation and this medal were disbanded in 1940.

    The III Class Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to “Faith and Labour for King and Country.”
