The Decoration for Meritorious Foreign Trade Workers was established by the Council of Ministers in 1971. It was awarded by the Minister of Foreign Trade to employees in the field of foreign trade in recognition of long and meritorious service. It was later discontinued following the collapse of the communist regime in 1989.
The Bronze Decoration features an obverse inscription that translates to "Meritorious Foreign Trade Worker."
