History

This Order is conferred upon individuals, organizations (governmental and non-governmental), and associations in recognition of meritorious service to the Republic, outstanding achievements in civil and military areas, and contributions to strengthening Macedonia's reputation and relationships with other nations. Recipients may also include foreign Heads of State, governments, and other distinguished individuals.
