History
The Royal Household Medal of was awarded to personnel of the Royal Household for long and faithful service.
There are a number of different versions of the Silver Medal that differ in engraving and inscription according to the reigning monarch of the period. During the reign of King George I, 5 different versions were awarded, but they all feature the same obverse inscription that translates to "George I, King of the Hellenes 1881." The version awarded during the reign of King Constantine I features an obverse inscription that translates to "Constantine, King of the Hellenes," and the version awarded during the reign of King Alexander I features an obverse inscription that translates to "Alexander King of the Hellenes 1917."
