History

This Medal was founded by the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, and it is conferred upon Armed Forces personnel in recognition of long and meritorious service.

The obverse and reverse medallion designs are identical between medal grades. The grade of medal is indicated by numbered ribbon device.

The III Class Medal is awarded for 5 years of service.

The ribbon of the III Class Medal features a device with the roman numeral "V".
