History

This Order was founded to recognize Albanian Military personnel and civilians for aiding in the creation of a new and updated Albanian Army.

The Type II Order was revised to include three classes in 1965, and the badges were awarded to Generals and Officers within the People's Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The badges were conferred in recognition of excellent preparation of military units, and the outstanding organization and direction of military instruction.

The pin on the reverse of the ribbon may be vertical or horizontal.

This Type II Medal has a suspension ring that was manufactured as part of the Medal.
