Morton & Eden sold one in late 2012, together with a Woltemade Medal (Catalogue 60, Lot 570). They set the price to 180-220 Pounds Sterling. If you assume that the Cross is worth 2/3 of that price and you take the high end of 220, you end up with approx. 275 USD. Hope this helps!

Most of the badges of the Royal Victorian Order are numbered on the reverse and are returnable on promotion within the Order. The insignia are not returnable on the death of a recipient. The "Medals Yearbook" from the publishers of "Medal News" states that early Queen Victoria issues (post 1896) were not numbered. This suggests that the above item may be from the reign of Edward VII or early George V. I believe that current insignia are being made by Cleve and Company Ltd.

Usually the versions have the physical description .. doesn't look like emedals took dimensions of the sash.

Beautiful! It's so nice to see images of decorations that are so incredibly rare! I'm still hoping to see images of several items that aren't up yet though, so hopefully you will find them in the future! I will check back regularly, just in case!
