    Physical Description


    A Maltese cross with ball finials, with small points between the arms, the obverse bears a medallion with three figures in conical hats, one of the figures holding a rifle, the other holding the flag of the Republic of Vietnam, encompassed by a border inscribed with NHAN DAN TU VE, the reverse bears the map of Vietnam, with the inscription VIETNAM, on a white, blue, red, and yellow striped ribbon.
