Physical Description

A five-pointed star, the obverse bears a circular medallion with a red and blue enamel National Liberation Front for South Vietnam flag, below the flag is a banner with the inscription CHIEN SI GIAI PHONG, on a pebbled background, on a ring suspension with a red and blue ribbon.

History

This Order was conferred by the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam (NLF) upon individuals for exceptional participation in battle in South Vietnam.

The I Class Star features 3 stars on the ribbon.
The II Class Star features 2 stars on the ribbon.
The III Class Star features 1 star on the ribbon.
