History

This is considered the second highest military award of the Philippines. It was replaced by the Philippine Constabulary Distinguished Conduct Star.

It is conferred upon members of the AFP in recognition of outstanding gallantry in the face of the enemy.

The obverse of the attached gold bar features an inscription and the reverse features an inscription.
