History

This medal instituted for acts of bravery and distinguished conduct. This medal is comprised of nickel, with the obverse presenting the bust of the Sultan with the Jawi inscription "SULTAN ISMAIL NASIRUDDIN SHAH NEGERI TRENGGANU DARULIMAN AL-ISLAMIAH AL-MALAYUWIAH." The inscription on the reverse is "PEKERTI TERPILEH". The ribbon is black with two equally spaced narrow white stripes.
