This medal is also called "Pingat Gagah Perwira" and is awarded for acts of conspicuous gallantry.
It is a silver medal with a tiger's head and a pair of elephant tusks with the nominal letters of the medal in Jawi above and the word "Pahang" below on the obverse. The reverse is the name of the medal "Pingat Gagah Perwira" and the name of the recipient, surrounded by 16 coffee leaves.
It is worn on a red ribbon with a wide yellow central stripe and narrow white and black edge stripes. Bars may be added for subsequent acts of gallantry.
