History

This medal was instituted to commemorate Tuanku Munawir's installation. It is a round silver medal, 32mm in diameter, with a ring suspension. The obverse presents the effigy of the Sultan facing left. On the reverse is the Royal Coat-of-Arms surrounded by the inscription in Jawi "PERTABALAN TUANKU MUNAWIR YANG DI-PERTUAN BESAR OF NEGRI SEMBILAN, 17TH APRIL 1961". The ribbon is yellow with one red edge and one black edge.
