History

Known in Malay as "Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati", this order was instituted by Sultan Abu Bakar on July 31, 1886. This Order is only awarded to members of the royal family and is therefore quite rare. It is conferred in two classes. There are four additional special badges for officials of the office.

The Chancellor's badge is a circular red enamelled garter badge surrounded by a white field on which are four clasped hands. This badge is surmounted by a crescent and a star in gold.
