The Hajj Pilgrimage Medal, 1935, is believed to have been created to honour the 1935 Hajj pilgrimage. The Hajj is the Muslim pilgrimage to the Holy Places Mecca and Medina.
features a Persian inscription on the obverse which translates to "By the Grace of God Sadiq Mohammed Abbasi V Ruler of God Gifted Kingdom of Bahawalpur AH1353 (AD 1935)." The reverse also features a Persian inscription which translates to "In the Name of Allah the Beneficient, the Merciful In Memory of a Group (or Pilgrimage) with Senior Officers and Junior Officers Travelling to Visit the Two Holy Places on the Occasion of Hajj."
