History
The Civil Good Conduct Medal (Tamgha-e-Husn Amal) was instituted by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV Abbasi in 1890 to reward civil servants and other state civil employees for excellent service. The Medal was amended by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V Abbasi in 1924 and once again in 1936.
The obverse features an Arabic inscription which translates to "By the Grace of God Sadiq Mohammad Abbasi V Ruler of God Gifted Kingdom of Bahawalpur."
There may be additional versions of the Medal which vary by design or composition.
