The Army of Cuban Pacification Medal was established by War Department General Order on May 11, 1909. The Bronze Medal was awarded to qualified United States Army personnel in recognition of occupational and garrison service in Cuba during the United States occupation of, and withdrawal from, Cuba between October 6, 1906, and April 1, 1909.
A variety of different numbering stamping styles were used.
