History

The obverse of the oval shaped medal shows in the center the profile of George V. Above the medal are two diverging leaves. On top is on the curved ribbon the inscription "CANADA",

The reverse is "FOR EFFICIENT SERVICE" inscribed.

The naming on the rim is officially impressed "SGT. E.W. COOPER R.C.A.M.C. (N.P.)".
