History

The Military Order of June 13 (Orden Militar 13 de Junio) was instituted on MAy 9, 1954, to commemorate the first anniversary of President Gustavo Rojas Pinilla's dictatorship. It was awarded to his military supporters.

The Order's grades were six, Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer, Knight, and Member. The Order was awarded to members of the Colombian Armed Forces, and associated civilians, for military merit. It is not clear if the grade denoted the rank of the recipient.
